1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the CyKat Computers website (cykat.com.au) and our services, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.
2. Services
CyKat Computers provides computer repair, IT support, broadband services, and related technology services. Service availability, pricing, and scope may change without notice.
3. No Fix, No Fee Policy
Our "No Fix, No Fee" guarantee applies to diagnostic and repair services where we are unable to resolve the reported issue. This guarantee does not apply to situations where repair is possible but the customer chooses not to proceed, or where data recovery is attempted but not fully successful.
4. Broadband Services
CyKat Broadband services are subject to availability at your premises. Advertised speeds are theoretical maximum speeds; actual speeds may vary due to factors including in-building wiring, network congestion, and distance from the node. Additional charges may apply for new property connections. All prices are subject to change without notice.
5. Customer Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
6. User-Submitted Content
By submitting a review or testimonial, you grant CyKat Computers a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that content on our website. All reviews are subject to moderation and approval before publication. We reserve the right to reject or remove content that is false, defamatory, offensive, or otherwise inappropriate.
7. Limitation of Liability
CyKat Computers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or website. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
8. Data and Backups
While we take every care during repairs and service work, we strongly recommend that customers back up their data before any service is performed. CyKat Computers is not responsible for data loss that occurs during the course of service work.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
